Atlan is looking for a visionary Community Manager to lead the growth and engagement of our community. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for creating a thriving hub for data enthusiasts, industry professionals, and our valued customers.

The Mission

  • Building a vibrant community: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to build, grow, and manage our community. Identify and understand the needs and interests of our target audiences, including data leaders (CDOs), data practitioners, and data governance professionals.
  • Creating meaningful connections: Foster relationships with community members and enhance their community experience through engaging content (eg: blog posts, forum discussions & webinars) while ensuring a positive and inclusive environment
  • Promoting the community: Leverage social media platforms and other Atlan marketing channels to promote the community. Collaborate with marketing, product, sales and customer success to ensure alignment and integrate community insights into the overall growth strategy of the company.
  • Raising the bar – giving 120%: Analyze community data and metrics to track progress, measure success, and identify areas for improvement. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in community management.

What Makes You a Match For Us?

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in community management with a proven track record of building and engaging online communities. Proven ability to manage online communities and foster positive and productive online interactions.
  • Logistics: You are a people person with a knack for creativity, logistics, and curating community programs and events from start to finish.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM platforms like Salesforce or Hubspot, and advanced skills in Excel/G-sheets. Experience with webinar systems, other EMS platforms, social media marketing and online community platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and interpret data.
  • Industry: You have a compelling blend of industry experience and innovative thinking, familiarity with the data landscape and the needs of data professionals and an eagerness to drive community initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content. Excellent stakeholder management and a strong capability to build and maintain community relationships.
