CMI Orange Awards for Content Marketing Agencies Guidelines
The scene:
- We are a potential fabulous new client.
- You have five minutes (maybe 10 if you’re lucky) to tell us what makes your agency special, to tell us what makes you great.
- Go. The clock’s ticking.
At CMI we celebrate great content marketing. As markets, media and technology continue to advance, what constitutes greatness is always evolving. Every day we are inspired by the work that agencies around the world do on behalf of their clients.
When we started talking about recognizing the top content marketing agencies, and how we would actually go about selecting the best, we decided it wasn’t really up to us. When it comes to content marketing work and projects, your clients define and reward greatness, not us here at CMI. If you’re successful, if you’re growing, if you keep getting new business and referrals, you must be doing something right. But is your agency among the best?
The Challenge: Tell Us Your Story
Great content marketing is all about telling great stories. We want to hear your story.
Tell us about all of the things that make your content marketing agency great, including:
- The work you’ve done.
- The clients you work with.
- Your ability to execute under fire.
- Your market knowledge and research.
- The projects that have defined your business.
- Your business performance over the past several years.
- Your people.
- Your contributions to the profession.
- Your vision for the future of your firm.
What you include in your story is up to you. So is how you tell it. We’re open to anything! Well, almost anything. Your submission must be in digital format so that can be easily shared with our judging panel.
Use the media that’s best for your story. It could be a five-minute video, or a narrated presentation, or an e-book, or an illustrated case study…. Whatever media you use, it should clearly convey what makes your organization and your people top notch.
Helping us out on our judging panel are some immensely talented folks responsible for content marketing programs at the world’s leading brand-name companies. We have:
- Mark Boncheck, SVP, Communities and Networks, Sears Holdings
- Todd Wheatland, VP of Thought Leadership, Kelly Services
- Jonathan Byerly, Director, Public and Enterprise Content, Dell
- Shaku Selvakumar, WW Web & Social Media Strategist, IBM Software Group
- Michael Brenner, Sr. Director, Global Marketing, SAP
- Rick Wion, Director of Social Media, McDonald’s
- Darryl Maslia, Global Director, Creative Asset Management, Coca-Cola
