CLEVELAND, Dec. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Content Marketing Institute (CMI) announced today their recent acquisition of the prestigious Content Marketing Awards, the leading international awards program for the content marketing industry.

The Content Marketing Awards, launched in 2004 as the Magnum Opus Awards by McMurry/TMG, merged with Content Marketing Institute’s Orange Awards in 2011. Since that time, the awards program has been conducted jointly by the Content Marketing Institute and McMURRY/TMG, a leading independent content marketing agency. Starting in 2015, CMI will be producing the popular program, where winners are announced during a special ceremony at Content Marketing World in Cleveland, OH, USA.

Over 1,100 entries were received for the 2014 Content Marketing Awards. Call for Entries opens February 2, 2015, with entries due April 28, 2015. Judging will take place by leading content marketing industry thought leaders and practitioners, and the 2015 Content Marketing Awards will be announced at Content Marketing World 2015, September 8-11, 2015.
