2016 Content Marketing Awards Now Accepting Entries

CLEVELAND, February 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — Content Marketing Institute (CMI) recognizes and awards the best of the best content marketing projects, agencies and marketers in the industry. The Content Marketing Awards (CMAs), the largest content marketing recognition program in the world, is now accepting entries for the 2016 awards program. Content Marketing Award entry forms are now available.

The 2016 Content Marketing Awards includes 76 categories covering every medium from print to digital to in-person, focusing on strategy, distribution, editorial and design. Entries will be judged by an all-star panel of leading industry influencers and experts in content marketing.

“These awards are important because they set the standard of excellence in content marketing for the industry,” says Joe Pulizzi, founder, Content Marketing Institute and author, Content Inc. “It’s important to honor the best work so more companies know what content marketing success looks like and strive for that standard.”

For the 2016 awards program, all submissions will be accepted online only. The awards are open to all companies, organizations and institutions that create content marketing, branded or custom content in print or digital form. Entries must have been created in calendar year 2015 to qualify for the 2016 awards.

“We’re looking forward to seeing this year’s submissions and have a few pointers for those looking to apply,” says Krissy Leskovec, CMA program manager. “The more data you can supply about the success of your content marketing project is extremely helpful. Also, please take the time to share your story. The more we get to understand your strategy and process, the better we can evaluate your project.”

Individual category finalists and winners will be announced in July 2016, at which time each category winner will automatically have a chance to win the overall Project of the Year. Additionally, each entrant also has the ability to nominate their agency for Agency of the Year. The Project of the Year and Agency of the Year will both be announced at a live awards ceremony at Content Marketing World in Cleveland on September 8, 2016, along with the Content Marketer of the Year.

Content Marketing Award entry forms are now available. The early bird deadline ends March 25, 2016. The regular deadline ends April 29 and the final deadline is May 6, 2016.

The Content Marketing Awards launched in 2004, with the agency and marketer of the year portions of the awards program initiated in 2012. It is now the premier content marketing award program in the world.
