The Content Marketing Awards, presented by the Content Marketing Institute and sponsored by McMurry/TMG, launched in 2004. The agency portion of the awards program initiated in 2012.

“Once again this year we were gratified by the number of great brands that entered the CMAs, over 1,100 entries, 40% more than 2013. We were blown away by the brilliance of the best work,” said David Murray, program chairman. “The CMA winners demonstrate that, just as fast as content marketing is getting bigger, it’s also getting better.”

“We saw a tremendous increase in quality from the past year,” said Joe Pulizzi, Content Marketing Institute Founder. “The best part about these programs is the consistency. The winning programs are not content marketing campaigns, but ongoing programs that are affecting change around the world.”

Most prominent among the winning entries were the Gold Award winners in the following categories, all nominated as finalists for the overall Content Marketing Awards Project of the Year, which will be announced at Content Marketing World:

  • Guitar Center Official YouTube Channel – Produced by Guitar Center
  • Four Seasons Magazine – Produced by Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.  Agency: Pace
  • Target Presents: The Way Up – Produced by Target
